Soil Investigation & Remediation

These services are often important following fuel storage tank removals or if impacted soils are discovered on your project site. Integrity will complete thorough onsite assessment and provide remediation recommendations utilizing the following services:

Soil boring investigations, both exterior and interior
On-site determination of soil conditions by visual and olfactory senses as well as photoionization detector (PID) screening
Collection of soils for laboratory sample analysis (all methods and parameters)
Landfill characterization of soils for permitting approval
Cost estimating and planning
Development of remediation technologies appropriate for specific sites and their conditions
Preparation of IEPA-mandated Site Classification Work Plans and Budget Proposals
Preparation of plans and specifications for public bidding purposes
Bidding assistance and construction administration through all phases of the remediation effort
On-site project management/geology
Contract Administration
Project reporting to the IEPA including all technical correspondence, communication, and report submission, including Professional Engineer certification
Leaking underground storage tank (LUST) Fund reimbursement eligibility application research and paperwork
Payment request preparation to the IEPA LUST Fund program including Professional Engineer certification
Planning and preparation of all IEPA Site Remediation Program (SRP) reporting documents, as well as assistance through all phases of this voluntary State Program

Groundwater Monitoring Well Design, Installation, & Testing

If groundwater supplies below a property are considered in jeopardy or are in need of investigation due to surface or subsurface contamination, Integrity can perform the following:

Design and installation of groundwater monitoring wells constructed according to applicable regulations for their use
Periodic monitoring and sampling of the wells including the determination as to the groundwater flow, elevations, etc.
Consultation and IEPA reporting, as required
Monitoring well abandonment and/or sealing for permanent closure
