Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Services

Integrity offers complete engineering consulting and services for underground storage tank (UST) and aboveground storage tank (AST) installation or upgrade work:

• Construction cost estimating
• Design and specification preparation of UST and AST installation or upgrade documents meeting applicable rules and regulations and the Client’s requirements
• Design and engineering of all tank system features, including leak detection, fuel management systems, overfill prevention, dispenser and pump island equipment, concrete and canopies.
• On-site management and monitoring of new equipment installation and construction
• All bidding and contract administration
• Review and approval of Contractor pay requests and other contractual documents

Integrity assists with all necessary steps required to remove or abandon in-place any underground storage tank (UST) system. The services associated with this area of work consist of the following:

• Physical and historical research to help determine the location, size, content, etc. of any UST system
• Cost estimating and planning
• Coordination with regulatory agencies governing USTs in Illinois; the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) and/or City of Chicago, Department of the Health
• Design and development of a plan or specifications, including all permitting, to remove or abandon in-place UST systems
• Evaluation of Contractor’s proposals to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
• All construction/environmental project management services
• All soil sample collection and analysis
• The preparation of all related reports for submission to the Owner and any applicable State agency
• Preparation of OSFM Operations and Maintenance Plans
